Part two Cards for Toos

See Previous Post for details :)

Cards for Toos

I made a whole set of cards for Toos and Cafe Paris. I'm posting them small, but if you want to see them bigger, just click on them. She asked for 25 cards and I made 27 (oops), and I also made a box for them.
This is split into 2 posts because I can only add 5 pics max to a post or so it seems.
The basic colours used are Chocolate Chip, Really Rust, More Mustard and a bit of Sage Shadow. I used retired Designer Series Paper and thus the retired cs colours as well. I gold embossed the Eiffel tower and left blanks for her to write her own greeting. I also used miscellaneous non-SU stuff and various retired embellishments. I also used various embossing folders and the Big Shot and a bunch of punches. If you're curious about specifics - just email or leave a comment.
I hope Toos likes these!

Birthday Again

Just a cheery little Birthday card. The stamp sets are Just Believe (love this set!), Punch Potpourri, Teeny Tiny Wishes and Chic Boutique. The colours are So Saffron, Baja Breeze and Poppy Parade. I also used paper from the Hostess Level 1 Paper pack. the corners of the main image are done with the curly label punch and the sentiment is punched out with the new XL Decorative Label punch. I also used the self adhesive Rhinestones and Pearls.

Happy Birthday Scott!

It was Scott's BD yesterday and this is the card I made him. The style is a joy fold card.
I took the colours for it from peacock feathers - the colours are Soft Suede, Always Artichoke, Tempting Turquoise, Night of Navy, Early Expresso, More Mustard and Brushed Gold. I used lots of smooch spritz - Vanilla and Log Cabin and I also used Smooch Illuminate top coat. I used markers as well as an Aquapainter to colour the image. The stamp set is nature's nest and the wheel is called Textured. I stamped the main image in Black Stazon on Watercolour Paper. All products are available in the Stampin' Up! catalogue.
Thanks for looking!

In Paris!

This is a card I've made for the owner of Cafe Paris. There will be several with variations. For this one I used More Mustard Cardstock as the base. Choc. Chip for the mat. And Retired Really Rust and Sage Shadow for the other mats. The Designer Paper is also retired.
The stamp set is Artistic Etchings and it is Gold embossed. The sentiment is computer generated. I used one of the little library clips, they're so cute! I also used the Scallop edge punch and some non-SU gold paper.
Thanks for looking! Have a great day!

A little shower card

This is a 3" X 3" enclosure card. I'm going to a wedding shower this afternoon. Her Bridal colours are red and black so I wanted to do a card with some red in it. This colour combo is from the new Colour Coach from Stampin' Up! The colours are all new too: Daffodil Delight, Early Expresso, and Cherry Cobbler. The ribbon is new too, it's 1/8" Early Expresso Taffeta - so pretty!!
The stamp set is an old SU one, it's called Bloomin' Beautiful. The rhinestones are not SU although we have some clear adhesive rhinestones in the new Catalogue!! Yeah!! The edge punch I used is the pinking hearts border punch. The sentiment is from Teeny Tiny Wishes. The M on the envelope is from Lovely Letters. And on the inside I used "Wishing You Love and Laughter Forever After" from Curvy Verses. Oh, Ya, I also used the Word Window punch to make for your shower stand out a little bit. I used markers to colour the image. Hope you like it!

Sew not a card!

This doesn't look like what I usually make does it?
Rae talked me into teaching her how to sew one of these, so we spent a fun Tuesday working with our Big Shots and a sewing machine. It's so easy to do. All the squares are cut with the scallop square die in the Big Shot! Takes just a couple minutes to do 38 squares! And they all turn out exactly the same size!!! Then they're sewn together with some batting and handles and a closure and voila! A purse is born!
If people are interested, I'm thinking about doing a class. Let me know what you think and I'll work out what you need for supplies and cost and all that.
Take care!
Joanne

Colours may not be exact, but the name is there for you to refer to.

Nephew's Birthday

This is a card for my 18year old nephew. I used some things that will be available May 1 with the new Summer Mini.
The stamp is a single stamp called Motorcycle. The birthday greeting which is a wee bit too high (oops) is from teeny tiny wishes.
The cardstock is Night of Navy, Bravo Burgundy and Naturals Ivory. I've used one of the Large Grommets as an accent.
The embossing folder is in the new Mini too, it's called Square Lattice. I also used the Tearing Edge to get the rough edges.
All products are Stampin' Up!

Sorry it's been so long since I've posted!! I just got some exciting news from Stampin' Up! and I want to share it with you.
With the new catalogue in July (yes, that’s seems like a long way off) there will be a colour renovation!! Stampin’ Up! is keeping up with the times and revamping the colours we offer! We are keeping some of the old colours but switching them around into new colour collections. There are some retired in Colours coming back and a few brand new colours. They all look fantastic! I have attached pdfs to an email I've sent to all of you on my mailing list, of the new collections and of the colours that are retiring. So if some of your favourites are retiring, I’d suggest you order some extra in the next few months to make sure you have enough to last.I’m so looking forward to the new colours!!! I think I’ll go rearrange my craft room! Hehe

Birthday

I find I'm enjoying a more simple style lately. This card is on a base of old Olive and the fabulous glittery paper is the Sending Love Specialty paper in the Occasions Mini. The stamp is also in the mini, it's from the set Garden From the Heart. I stamped it in Chocolate Chip and coloured it with pretty in pink and old olive markers. Sentiment is from Teeny Tiny Wishes.
The punch is the Scallop Trim Border and you can get it FREE with a $65 order (Before Shipping and Taxes). Be sure to check out the other products in the Sale-A-Bration brochure.
My artwork (all original unless otherwise stated) is shared only for your personal inspiration, all products and stamps are from stampin' up! unless otherwise stated.
