Oh Baby!

This is a card I made just to have on hand. You never know when you need one! The Giraffe is from Wild About You (I love that set) and the Best Wishes is from Cute and Curly in the Curly label punch bundle. The Baby was cut out with the Naturally Serif decorative strip die and the Big Shot. The glue booger on the 'a' doesn't show in real life!!! I also used the Curly Label punch and pink Taffeta ribbon. The colours are Pretty in Pink and So Saffron (my favourite combo!!)
Thanks for lookin'!

Clean and simple

Another clean and simple card. For this one, I used the sticky cuts "Sweet" - they're sheets that are sticky on both sides and die cut. You can also get full sticky sheets. They're fun!!
First, I stamped the sentiment on the card front. Then I put the card base in the big shot and gave it the small polka dot pattern. I removed the adhesive from one side of the sticky cut and adhered it to the card front, and then after taking the adhesive off the other side, I sprinkled on the beads from the Pink Beads Duo. To fill in the spaces between the beads (so it left no sticky areas), I sprinkled clear microbeads over top. The cardstock is Pink Pirouette and the ink is Pixie Pink. Thanks for looking!

I bought a beautiful flower calendar last year and the cover had these lovely orange roses on the front with some cream lilac - looking flowers. There were a couple shades of green as well. So I decided to use those colours as inspiration for this card even though they are waaaay out of my comfort range. The card base and image are on confetti cream cardstock and the main image is matted with only orange and handsome hunter. I used the So Swirly Decorative strip die in the Big Shot with Kiwi Kiss to make the swirls. I finished it off with an Ice Square Rhinestone Brad. The stamp set is Bloomin' Beautiful on page 85 of the Spring/Summer IB&C 2009.

This is a sweet little card done with the Sale-A-Bration set called Botanical Blooms. You're still able to receive a free SAB stamp set or product when you order $60.00 worth of catalogue merchandise. Feb and Mar are Sale-A-Bration months!
I also used the Eyelet border punch and White taffeta ribbon. The cardstock I used is Shimmery White, So Saffron and Almost Amethyst. The ink is Stazon Black, So Saffron and Almost Amethyst. I think it's a nice spring-Easter card. I hope you like it!!

Just a quick posts this time. I have more cards that I need to take pictures of.
I'm really into simple cards I think. Sorry about the colour on this one- I'm not quite sure how to adjust it yet. It's actually textured white cardstock and the image and sentiment are stamped in chocolate chip (yummy). The set is called Font of You. It's on page 46 of the Spring and Summer Idea Book and Catalogue 2009. Thanks for looking!

I've been busy making cards today and still going with the simple is best theme, I did this one. Whisper White cardstock is the base for this card, then I stamped Baroque Motifs in Basic Black. The butterfly is up on dimensionals and is from the Hostess Set God's Beauty. It is coloured with Pumpkin Pie. The sentiment is from the Thoughts and Prayers stamp set. All stamp sets are from Stampin' Up!'s Spring and Summer Idea Book and Catalogue.

This is a recessed window card. The centre box is about 1/8th of an inch lower than the rest of the card. I used the Stampin' Up! texture plates background #1 on So Saffron cardstock. The flower is made using the Embosslit Simple Flower in Pretty in Pink and the leaves are Certainly Celery cut out with the Little Leaves Sizzlet. All the dies were used in the Big Shot. The pearl is a half back pearl from the Pretties Kit.

Here's something a bit simpler. I always think sympathy cards should be clean and simple. For this one, I used the Big Shot and the new Texture Plates. They give a more subtle texture than the cuttlebug plates which i think is really elegant. The set I used is Praying for You on page58 of the new catalogue. Item number 113252. The cardstock I used is Shimmery White and Brocade Blue. The Brads are Brocade Blue as well.

Here's my first card done with a Sale-A-Bration set. SAB starts today. For every $60 you spend in catalogue merchandise, you get to pick a free set or product (there's ribbon and paper too) from the SAB catalogue and for a workshop of $360 or more you can select one free item from the SAB catalogue. Wow free stuff is great! This is done with Polka Dot Punches. This set coordinates with the 5 petal punch, Scallop circle punch, 1 1/4" punch and the new full heart punch. I also used the new Eyelet border punch and the Little leaves sizzlet in the Big Shot. The colours are Baja Breeze, Pacific Point and Garden Green. Thanks for looking!
