Birthday card for a friend
This card is on a base of Marina Mist Cardstock (I love that colour!) The image is stamped with Early Espresso and Cherry Cobbler (I used markers to colour the individual areas). The stamp set is Serene Silhouettes and the sentiment is from Made for You. I used a trimmed postit note and sponge to colour the snowbanks with Marina Mist ink. And I just used a sponge to colour the sky with Pretty In Pink, So Saffron and Marina Mist.
Thanks for lookin'!

Christmas Wow Card
I had fun making this card. I wanted something that has that WOW factor and I think I did it! (heehee)
This card uses the single stamp called Bold Snowflake with the matching Blossom Punch. The silver glimmer paper snowflake accent is cut out with the Bigz Snow Flurry Die. The dark dotted paper is Night of Navy DSP from the Regals DSP Paper Stack. The centre of the snowflakes are the light grey brads in the Basics Glimmer Brads. The Greeting is from the Greetings of the Season Stamp set stamped in Night of Navy on Whisper White Cardstock and punched out with a 1 3/4" punch. The snowflakes are stamped in Bashful Blue and Night of Navy (on Whisper White) and the card base is Bashful Blue.
The card style is called a Cascading card.
I love it!!! What do you think?

Masculine card
Long time no blog! Sorry about that.
Made this card for a lady in town to give to her son for his 60th birthday. He's a farmer.
Cajun craze is the base. The technique I used on the Birthday wishes strip I call faux tooled leather. The strip is really a piece of fun foam! I also used Mocha Morning specialty paper. The rest is not Stampin' Up!
The card uses a full sheet of cardstock and is 5 1/2" X 8 1/2"
Thanks for looking!

Thank you cards
My Mom passed away last week and I wanted to make some elegant thank-you cards to send to those who sent me flowers, brought food, and generally helped me out.
The card is Very Vanilla Cardstock, stamped with Blushing Bride (Butterflies from Kindness Matters) and Early Espresso (Thank you from Curly Cute). The bottom front of the card is cut with the new Adorning Accents Edgelit Die and embossed with the Adorning Accents embossing folder (both these are in the Occasions Mini Catalogue 2012. The ribbon is Blushing Bride ruffled Ribbon also in the Mini Catty. The lace is made with a die from another manufacturer!

Masculine BD card
I needed a card for my nephew and decided to use some of the things I've been hoarding!
I used a craft foil and sanded the top after I put it through an embossing folder. I used the word window punch and put the sentiment in behind the foil. The Bonsai is from an SU set called Plant Hope. I love that tree! The colours are soft suede and always artichoke. The sentiment is from teeny tiny wishes. I distressed the edges with the distressing tool. Oh, and I sponged with soft suede, early espresso and always artichoke.
